Hello! So, the navbox says that 'Pick the Portal' is in the Puzzle World, but it's not, you see, because they needed a portal to get to Pick the Portal. And neither of these locations are on the map, so yea, the navbox needs to be updated so I will do that.
On a second note, the 'Ruined Castle' is a conjectural name, and even though ut sounds cool, its improper to call it the ruined castle, because Redcap's Castle is a more fitting conjectural name (due to Redcap's ownership of the castle, and how no one refers to it as the Ruined Castle)
Also, I gave the 'Old Lady' (the allusion to the Evil Queen) her own page, since she is credited as a guest star, and she plays an important role in the episode.
I also gave Louie his own page, since he had a major role in both Puzzled and Alchemy, and made a cameo in Race.
Okay, I would just run everything by Soli123 too so as to get their opinions on the matter as well. With the Pick the Portal subject I am a bit on the fence because it was a puzzle type situation so I understood why Soli123 grouped it as such.
Also, about the Sea page- we should just merge that page with either 'Viking Village' or 'Cherufe's Island', it's not needed because the sea is very minor in the story, and the locations within it are more important than the sea itself. also, the sea has caused a lot of disputes so if we leave a redirect it would be better
also, about the pick the portal thing- they are two completely separate areas, and neither are on the map, so to assume they are together is not very logical, since Puzzlehead does not appear in Pick the Portal, and since the landscape is completely different.
plus, pick the portal is less of a puzzle situation because it is a tv show. also, i think we should give hollow games studio a page, since it plays a large role in the third episode of the second season
and for the pick the portal situation, in the second season, most of the villains/helpers in the games can't leave their home area/dimension (Brynhilda cant leave the Viking Village, Akuma hasnt left Pick the Portal, Puzzlehead hasnt left the Puzzle world, Redcap hasnt left her castle, Jules hasnt left Montmartre) with the exception of Louie, who made a cameo in the last episode of season 2
i am very sorry, again. i was being immature, childish, and hostile and did not mean to do so. i apologize for my actions. i should not have blocked you. that was very impulsive and thick-headed of me. i hope we can work together
Hey so while we are talking, as you can probably guess Snow White is my favorite fairy tale and had they included the Evil Queen in the show I'd have been ecstatic. But the witch in the Fairy Tale Land was not confirmed to a queen and never assumed a regal form. So I think the Apple Witch is currently a more accurate description. I believe her being an elderly woman with apple's was more a nod to the Evil Queen's peddler from but not a clear indication that it was her.
So I wanted to get you opinion on adding gifs to the wiki, primarily to display certain characters powers (e.g. Tyler or Reeve). I know how to make them and just want your input before we involve Soli123.
Awesome! Lets run it by Soli123 then I'll get started on that. If there is any other type of gif situation you can think of, please let me know. I really think one of Adam in his hyper-reflex modes will really showcase that he does have some type of enhanced speed/reflexes.
Maybe we should also create a page or blog space to discuss ideas and topics... I've seen other wiki admins do so in the past... this way our message walls don't get too cluttered and we can have all our important discussions in one place. Just a thought, as I myself have never done so. But it might cool to try!
i apologize for my half of the rude implying comments. i am very sorry. i said that because i felt attacked as an admin. i am not inexperienced, and when u said that, it was very rude and also untrue. i have been on fandom for a long time. my old account was from 2013 to 2016 and this account was from then on. i am not inexperienced and it is uncorrect and unprofessional that u implied and directly said so.
If I made you feel negative in any way personally, then for that I am sorry. However, you blocked me - a fellow admin, because of a disagreement. That is unprofessional. Extremely unprofessional. For that alone there needs to be a discussion. I am going to take a breather for a while, and I suggest you do the same.
Hi guys, I just wanted to step in, as it appears this hasn't been resolved, and I feel we need to reach an amicable conclusion. I just want to clarify, was this dispute largely to do with this thread here, and the associated actions?
I want to ask, is there any reason we need to dispute to this extent, when we ultimately all just want the same thing on the wiki? Fair Snow-White, was it really that relevant to be calling out ItsAsIf as inexperienced, whether it is the case or not? After all, the discussion was largely about the issue of content, not ItsAsIf's capabilities as an admin, so your comments weren't contributory. On the flip-side, ItsAsIf, why do you feel it was ultimately necessary to block Fair Snow-White? A request to apologise may have perhaps better suited the situation if you took offence to anything - would you expect it to be appropriate to block you if you did such things to another user?
There's absolutely no good reason to be clashing like this. A constructive discussion is healthy for any wiki, it helps seed great content, but if and when it turns sour then it helps no one, on any level, and this has reached past the point of acceptable.
i am very sorry. I know we can move past this. I am extremely sorry about blocking you, but I thought when you block a user, you only block them from you, not from the wiki. I have never used the block feature before and that was a bit overreactive of me.
Makeshift, thanks for coming to discuss this with us and sorry you had to in the first place. First I'd like to apologize to both of you for this whole situation. Maintaining this wiki is a team effort and working together often yields the best result. This was a bumb in the road, but now we can move forward and hopefully try to focus on improving the wiki. I think the best thing for future disputes is to hash them out as a team and perhaps make it more of a democracy with a vote on what a final result should be. So let's start of with a clean slate and work on making the Hollow Wiki an awesome representation worthy of the show!
I'm happy to see you guys have worked out a good-natured resolution, and know what each reasonably expects of the other. An admin team should absolutely act in unison, there is not one that ranks higher in importance, especially when it comes to decision making, so in the future I'd suggest you both heavily lean into this idea. If you're making a big decision, perhaps consult all of the admins. :)
u make all ur decisions urself. idk if ur a fandom newbie, but thats not how wikis work. we have to make decisions together. ur not the queen of the wiki, henny. were equal and a team, so we have to discuss decisions before making them.
First, I have to disagree with your statement. If you can provide clear evidence of your stance then I'd understand. What your putting is an INFERENCE. Was it explicitly stated by the show? If not, go by the guidelines of last season.... The previous Hollow Game had an ocean. We didn't name it because the show didn't give it a name. Also, look at the map section! the "world" isn't like our maps.... The Hollow has yet to name the sea, so until then it is just an UNNAMED SEA.
no, but it is an inference. inference is what we have to go on. so we cant know the real names, so we can rename the pages, but that doesnt justify saying the viking dimension is in the same dimension as cherufe and the parrot people. also, you use a lot of lower caps, which is sloppier than short pages.
and also, the maps dont show dimensions or portals, but the portals are seen on-screen. the season 1 map didnt show the portals or borders, yet those were separate dimensions. ur method is clearly flawed.
First off, the portals don't always transport between worlds. This is a silly argument, look at the map of Season 2. My point is proven by the map. It is one big world - granted certain locations don't seem to be on the map... thus they are locations that you could argue your point on.
but portals and borders arent shown in the season 1 map either... doesnt mean its the same dimension. we should be going by what happens on screen, its easier to interpret, its more accurate, and more specific.
Portals are never shown on the map. The Weird Guy just sent them to random places in the world. But the second season was about glitches and worlds colliding. Again I am going of info the show provide us... the locations I edited/merged/deleted were edited based on the map. It is all one big world. If we did your way, then none of the areas seen would have been connected. Colorath and Olym's worlds are the few exceptions, the map showed only this place when the players were in those worlds.
Look at the map!!! The locatons on the map are one world. As I said before, those places not on the map can be considered their own, seperate place. Otherwise it is one big world with several locations.
As you can see the viking sea and power plant are visilby connected by the same body of water, Adam, Kai and Skeet rowed there from that Island of Cheruf, thus it is all connected.
again, THE MAP DOESNT SHOW PORTALS. also, theyre worlds, because if they werent, why wouldnt they just ride on a horse or a bike or transport? NO. because they are WORLDS. plus, in fairy tale land, there was an electrical digital border
It is still all connected by the sea. It isn't named "the sea of cherufe." Although it is a cool name, you came up with it. Not the show. So it isn't canon info and we have to go with what we know to be true. It doesn't matter where it is.... all we know is a body of water connects these three locations together.
but the thing is, the sea where the viking villages are and the sea with cherufe and the reactors are two worlds. or else when they were paddling the boat they would see the viking villages or tursas cave
it is clear that they are worlds. we dont know if they are the same sea, but they are probably not, because the viking village would have been visible. also, in the first season, the map didnt show borders between the worlds. thats a fact. so this 'its one world, one sea' is far-fetched, interpretation and NOT factual, and therefore, flawed
it only appeared once, so the animators could have just jumbled up random drawings for it. it might be correct, it might not. we cant ASSUME anything. its better to have two separate pages named Sea (The Return) and Sea (Unbalanced) just in case.
because the map is not explained, and may not be a map of mira, kai, adam, reeve and vanessa's route, we should stick with two pages for the two DIFFERENT SEAS. also, all the oceans are connected- doesnt make them one ocean. asia and africa- not one continent.
They aren't worlds, but locations. They are shown as a landmass on a singular map. We can see on the map THAT THEY ARE CONNECTED. And the viking village is visible, it is the place with the viking boat. But I don't want to discuss this further. I feel like we all need to discuss this as a team at length.
just cuz theyre connected doesnt mean theyre the same sea. did u ever go to middle school? cuz if u did, u would learn that just cuz the oceans are connected on the map doesnt mean theyre the same ocean. common logic.
I'd rather have less articles with a good foundation, than several extra, crummy pages. Plus, when you delete a page a very inexperienced admin has made and left several links too, it is gonna take some time to find all these links and redirect them. So it may be a good idea to stop adding stubby articles and refining what we already have.
Your edits tend to be very choppy/sloppy and based on opinion as opposed to factual canon information. Your claim of superiority is also far ruder than any implications I may have made based on wanting a wiki to be at its personal best. One normally has to work and prove that they deserve to be an admin and have a sense of refinement. True I should have alerted my fellow admins of my editing ideas... but from my dealing's with Soli123, it seemed they normally had faith in my ability to administer quality material to the wiki. Until today, I never had any issue of any kind with any fellow admin before.

First let me say thank you for all of your tremendous contributions to the wiki. I was just looking at the activity log and noticed that you've deleted 11 articles, 8 files, and 6 fan engagement posts in the last two days, so I figured I would check in to see how everything is going and if there's anything I should be aware of.
I'm just reading below on your wall here that you're working on a method to reduce the number of stubs by merging articles with fewer than 500 words into one single encompassing article. I think this is a good idea and can really help to consolidate info. I admire your proactive effort in getting that started, so thank you for that.
However, in the future, I think it's wise to consult with other admins first before any large-scale deletions, destructive edits, or locations moves are implemented. This will help us all to be on the same page and to tell the difference between well-meaning consolidation and vandalism.
I also recommend having a browse through the Article Guidelines, as I think you'll find useful information there, and as always, you're welcome to come to me with any questions you may have.
I look forward to our continued work together! Soli123 (talk) 18:23, May 14, 2020 (UTC)
Hello Soli123! First I want to apologize for going and making all those edits without running it by my fellow admins first. I would totally love to discuss everything as a group and come to a mutual understanding. My main concerns is article creation/maintenance and making certain that we don't have say 10 pages with such little information that it looks choppy and sloppy. I am also a big fan of canon information - just because something makes sense, I don't think that warrants it being included on the page itself (maybe in the trivia section) unless confirmed by a member of the show or if it is stated in the show itself. Again, lets discuss this as I have seen a bit of what ItsAsIf has done and I feel they are a bit all over the place making articles with such little information based on inference as opposed to confirmed detail.
Also the fan posts I deleted contained profanity and bigotry.
also, its not just the deleting thats unjustifiable. u put down that the viking village was in the same dimension as the island where cherufe resides. thats false. its proven they are different dimensions because they are separated by portals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Add them to their merged articles, once and if they grow to NEED a page to themselves, then we go from there. Work up to something bigger, not just going and doing the bigger thing and trying to cram info into it.
its not a minor location, and all pages need to be added to. IT WAS IN TWO EPISODES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we know a lot about it, so I am going to recreate the page if that is ok, and there will be 500 words or more.
